Sake farm obtains their coffee from plantations in the Ngoma District of Rwanda, which are home to 2,200 coffee farmers and 73,400 coffee trees. The coffee cherries are transported to the Sake coffee washing station using bicycles, vehicles, or by being carried on individuals' heads. Since 1999, they have collaborated with the Twuzuzanye and Berwa Mubyeyi associations, as well as women's groups within the coffee industry.
